Senior Services
Golden members (persons 60 years and over) are entitled to special benefits for using the library, such as waived charges for overdue items.
Complete the Adult registration form and provide the following:
- One (1) valid identification (passport, national ID or driver’s permit)
- Proof of current mailing address no more than three months old (e.g. utility bill, bank statement)
- 10 free black-and-white photocopies per month
- Fees waived for:
- Overdue fines
- Replacement library card (1 per year)
- Repairable damaged books
- Seniors Lounge (Scarborough Library)
A number of activities are planned with the Golden Members in mind, such as:
- Computer literacy classes
- Seniors Scrabble club
