






The James Biggart Adult Library caters to individuals 18 years and older. Fiction and non-fiction items in print and non-print formats are available. Other facilities provided in the Adult Library include:

Adults (Residents)
Complete the Adult Online Registration Form and provide the following:
- One (1) valid identification (passport, national ID or driver’s permit)
- Proof of current mailing address no more than three months old (e.g. utility bill, bank statement)
Adults (Non-Residents)
Complete the Online Transient registration form and provide the following:
- Passport
- Trinidad & Tobago address
- Address in home country
- $50.00TT non-refundable fee
Non-Fiction
Non-Fiction books cover a wide expanse of topics including: philosophy, religion, social issues, science, health, the arts, music, history, geography, business, economics, literature, and travel guides.
Fiction
The fiction collection consists of novels, short stories, fables, science fiction, romance, adventure, mystery, classics, western, etc; and some titles are also available in large print.
Newspapers and Magazines
Local newspapers and popular international and magazines are available at the library.

Borrow up to 6 books/audiovisual items* plus 2 magazines
Loan privileges – Non-Residents

Magazines (most recent issue cannot be checked out) – 7 days
*Only 2 items from the audiovisual collection can be borrowed at one time

Use your library card and PIN at the kiosk.
Renewals
Renew items by phone, in person or online.
Returns
Return items at the Circulation Desk or use the book return bins outside the building.
Note: only items borrowed from Tobago libraries are accepted.
Fines
To encourage safe return of items for use by other persons, fines are charged for late returns, damaged and lost items. Generation of fees may result in an account being blocked.
